Porter Square Books Writer-In-Residence

From February 1st, 2020 to October 31st 2020, I will be a writer-in-residence at Porter Square Books. I am excited to use the time and space to work on a memoir describing my past life as molecular biologist through the lens of two long-term relationships. You can follow what I’m up to through my monthly book recommendations, blog posts, and participation in bookstore events.

I am also looking forward to sharing my passion for reading and writing with the bookstore community. I love learning about what other people find compelling and what books they are reading. One of the most important characteristics of Porter Square Books is the sheer number of narratives that it contains. No matter who walks into the store, they will be able to find a book that calls out to them and reflects their life experience as well as something new and totally different. Nowhere else in life is there such a strong sense of home and adventure.
